“You Don’t Have To Go”

I received a call from a former client and student stating that her husband was in intensive care in the hospital, in critical and unstable condition and in a coma, with Hanta virus.  She also asked if I could do a healing circle with the family who were arriving in town.  These healings, of course, had to be done from a distance so I worked on him immediately and then went to meet the family.  When I arrived to meet with the family it was about 45 minutes after I had finished the healing.  Some of the relatives arrived after me and when asked how he was doing they said, “about 45 minutes ago they declared him stable.”

As I continued to work on him I kept in touch with his wife.  When I felt as though I had cleared his field of the virus I called her to check on him.  She said, “Well, they think they have gotten rid of the virus, but now they are worried about his kidneys.”  I told her I would immediately work on his kidneys.  When I finished I called her back. Now she was hysterical.  She said, “I don’t think they know what they are doing, because an hour ago they said they were worried about his kidneys and now they say his kidneys are fine.”  She wasn’t putting two and two together.

The next step was getting him off the respirator.  That is more of a psychological problem.  When I tuned in to him I saw him standing in a bright light.  I thought, uh oh.  Then one of my guides said, “you may join him in the light.”  So I did. Not quite sure what to do next, and my highest sense being claire-sentience, I just said what popped into my head.  I said, “You know, you don’t have to go.”  As soon as I said that there was a noise – a whooh, like a sudden gust of wind, and the light was gone and I proceeded with the healing.

We got him out of the hospital and his family threw a huge party to which I was invited.  I had never met him so I went and sat next to him and introduced myself.  I said, “I don’t know if who know who I am.”  He said, “My wife tells me you were doing something to help me.”  I asked him, “What if anything do you remember?”

He seemed to have a very clear memory and responded, “The first thing I remember, and I don’t know if I was still in a coma or just sleeping, but I was standing in this bright light and there was a noise and I fell on my face in the sand.”  “What if anything were you thinking?” I asked.  He said, “I was thinking that I never thought I would go this way.”  So, when I told him that he didn’t have to go, he realized that he could stay.

I was so stunned that I never told him or his wife what I had seen in the healing.
